Gordon Trowell was my Grand father .whom i never met .My Father Donald Trowell past on his medals to me .He had an other son Larry Trowell. Gordon Trowell was the husband of Victoria Trowell. The couple had two sons lThe Trowell boys have in total 9 children and many grandchildrenGordon s son travelled to his grave to visit in the early turn of the century ]A book was published called my memories in it was a wonderful poem Gordon wrote to his wifeGordons oldest son wrote in the book called my memories in this wonderful book is a poem called listen a moving and warm poem of the war and how his dad felt durning those last fearful days of his lifeThank you so much for letting me share this for future Trowell s who might come upon this in years to comeThank you so much Gordon for your love for my mother and your sacrifice to your family for our freedom
