Only son of John Kean; b. Chicago; ed. Line P.S., Chicago, Kew Beach P.S., Riverdale
c.i., Toronto; Medicine 1917-18.
At the end of his first year he enlisted in the 67th, University of Toronto, Battery,
C.F.A. After training at Petawawa he went overseas in September, and transferred to the
Heavy Artillery in England. Shortly afterwards he was taken ill with influenza and
died at Kinmel Park Camp, Wales. Buried at Bodelwyddan Churchyard, Rhyl.
